About Us

yMedia is a social enterprise that works to connect students, industry and not-for-profit organisations for collective growth.

All of this happens because a dedicated team of young volunteers invest their skills and energy into driving yMedia's vision of collective growth.

The yMedia crew consists of a talented group of individuals who devote an enormous amount of their personal time into running yMedia each year. A lot of the crew are past competitiors in the yMedia Challenge who were so inspired by yMedia's work, and so greatful for the opportunities the Challenge provided, that they have committed to being part of the management team.

The full team meets regularly to develop yMedia and to ensure our vision and values are upheld. With a variety of backgrounds including advertising, PR, design, digital, event management, business development and not-for-profit work, each individual brings their skill set to the table to provide a well rounded view of the industry, a strong understanding of students' needs, and a solid background of developing not-for-profit organisations.
